How do I access my webmail?

Webmail allows you to access your email accounts through any web browser. This comes in handy when you want to check your emails but do not have access to your computer. Webmail helps you to log in from anywhere and access your emails.

Webmail is a great feature offered by cPanel. There are two ways that you can log into webmail:

  • Access webmail from cPanel (administrator access only)
  • Access webmail from direct link (for email users)

Access webmail from cPanel interface

1. Log into cPanel.

2. Navigate to Home >Email>Email Accounts.

4. Click the logo or the Read Mail Using link for your preferred webmail application.

5. Click Enable Auto Load if you want the chosen webmail application to load automatically the next time that you access Webmail.

The interface for the webmail will be displayed. You can view, retrieve and display all of your email account's read and unread messages.

Access webmail from direct link

If your domain has propagated, you can access webmail by typing the following URL into your browser's address bar. In the example below, substitute your primary domain or addon domain name for hoasted.com.

The method does may not work for addon domains:

http://webmail.hoasted.com

As an alternative to going to webmail, you can utilize one of the three default webmail clients through direct URL. Enter one of the following URLs in your browser's address bar, replacing example.com with your primary domain name:

Horde: https://www.hoasted.com:2096/horde/index.php

SquirrelMail: https://www.hoasted.com:2096/3rdparty/squirrelmail/index.php

RoundCube: https://www.hoasted.com:2096/3rdparty/roundcube/index.php

To access webmail directly from your web browser, perform the following steps:

  1. Enter https://hoasted.com:2096 or http://webmail.hoasted.com in your web browser, where hoasted.com is the name of your domain.
  2. Enter the email address in the Email Address text entry box. In the example here, info@hoasted.com is entered.
  3. Enter the password in the Password text entry box.
  4. Click Log In.

The selected domain will be displayed.

The Choose a Default Webmail Application page will be displayed.
