How do I find my MySQL version?

If you created your website quite a while ago and you used a version of MySQL for the back-end support, then with the years, newer versions of the software will have been rolled out, each version with a better support, ease-of-use features and a more robust structure to handle the server traffic. It is imperative that you update the current version of MySQL to the latest one so that you can have a well-functioning website free of glitches. You can know the current version of the MySQL you are using by accessing your cPanel account.

1.  Log in to your cPanel account.

2.  Navigate to Databases>phpMyAdmin.
