How do I create a MySQL database?
In cPanel, the Databases section has the option of creating MySQL databases and its users, and also to modify and access them. SQL (Structured Query Language) is a premier language in database management activities like querying, accessing or retrieving and updating information from databases.
MySQL is an open source Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) software that holds database information which can be accessed using SQL queries. MySQL can also be accessed using various other programming and query languages. Most often, PHP is used.
1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. Navigate to Databases.
The Database section will be displayed.
3. Click MySQL® Databases.
MySQL® Databases page will be displayed.
4. Enter the name of the database in the New Database text entry box..
5. Click Create Database.
The new MySQL database will be created.
