cPanel webmail login page

While you can access your mail through an email program, you can use your browser instead by logging into the cpanel webmail login page.

The location of this page differs per webhost, but has a number of default locations.

Default and often used

First off, if you are a Hoasted customer yout cpanel webmail login page is located at:

webmail.yourdomain.tld, for example if you own your webmail is at

Other locations where you can often find the login page are:

  • yourdomain.tld/webmail (for example
  • (for example

We have configured your webmail at webmail.yourdomain.tld for your convenience. In fact you can also reach it from yourdomain.tld/webmail. This is an often used configuration for cPanel.

cPanel as a default also hosts webmail at the 2096 port. You can thus open your webmail at the server url of your website followed by :2096. Using a colon in a web address specifies a port to approach a website on.

Can’t find it?

If you still can’t find your cpanel webmail login page there are a couple of things you can do:

  • Check your welcome email
  • Read your host documentation
  • Contact customer support

Usually your email settings and urls are supplied to you in your webhosting welcome email. This contains your username, password and login pages.

Your webhost probably has documentation available about their system. In there it is likely they mention the correct webmail url. If you are not sure where to find the documentation simply google “<name of your webhost> webmail” and the settings will most likely pop up.

If all else fails you can contact the support department of your host. They should be happy to help you figure out your webmail settings.

Using a mail client instead

Perhaps you don’t want to use webmail. This could be because you want your email on your phone, or you prefer using your computer’s mail client. For this you will need to configure IMAP/POP and SMTP settings.

For Hoasted you can find your email configuration here.
