It is great that we, as a former customer of the Antenna Foundation, can welcome you as a new customer at Hoasted from 1 January 2021. As a result of this acquisition, we would like to briefly introduce ourselves and also provide you with practical information about the transfer.

We are a Dutch hosting provider with a strong focus on performance and service. For example, we are happy to help our customers to get the most out of the possibilities through our extensive technical support, which is available every day of the week until 10.30 pm.

We would like to see you as a new customer enjoy a warm bath with us. That is why below an answer to any questions you already have. We would also like to talk to you in the new year, so that together we can see how we can help you further in the field of online.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect?

From January 1, 2021, all services will run via Hoasted and you can contact support@hoasted.com or via the Hoasted website for support. Our team is ready for you every day of the week until 10.30 pm, also on weekends! With an average response time of 19 minutes, you never have to wait long for an answer.

Within our support you will be helped by, among others, Tsjêbbe de Vries, also known for his years of work at the Antenna Helpdesk. Your questions will therefore be answered by Tsjêbbe as far as possible. The accessibility, personal communication and really helping Hoasted are central to this.

We will not make any changes to your services during the transfer, so all your settings will remain completely unchanged.

What will happen to the rates?

Nothing! The rates of Hoasted are almost the same as the former rates of Antenna, we see no reason to change them. All Antenna services are transferred exactly to Hoasted, with the prices remaining the same. We think it is important that you improve during the transfer and that you are also enthusiastic about our services!

Invoice period

Invoicing is done in advance with us, which is now the standard with hosting providers. The payment terms for your hosting and domain services remain unchanged in most, which means that things like domain billing that is set per month will also continue to run that way.

The exception to this are small amounts to make your and our administration easier. For example, monthly invoices under 5 euros per month will be processed on an annual basis from 1 January and invoices between 5 and 10 euros per month will be billed on a quarterly basis. In consultation with our support, terms can be arranged completely according to your wishes (per 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months).

Invoices are usually sent as an email with PDF attachment to the contact address on the 1st of the month, from support@hoasted.com. Given the takeover, it is possible that only the first invoice (for January 2021) will appear during the first 14 days of January.

Direct debit

Direct debit If you already used SEPA Direct Debit (direct debit) at Antenna, this will remain unchanged. The debits from January 1, 2021 will come from Hoasted, whereby your bank may give a notification that a new service provider with a new collector ID is being charged. Depending on your bank, you may have to approve this manually (for example at Bunq or Knab).

In addition to payment by direct debit, just like Antenna, we also offer alternative payment methods such as Paypal, iDeal, credit card and manual transfer. The transaction costs are charged for Paypal and credit card, however iDeal, manual transfer and direct debit are completely free of charge.

Will my @ antenna.nl mailbox remain active?

Yes, we keep all services fully active, even after the takeover. Nothing will change in your mailboxes, domains or settings and you can continue to use all services as usual. The Roundcube webmail environment and existing email and domain forwarders also remain active.

Customer portal

Customer portal and hosting details Every customer with us has access to his own customer portal, in which you can view all active services, invoices and also have the option to easily change contact details.

The login details for your customer account will be automatically sent to the e-mail address that was known to Antenna, so that you can log in to your own customer environment. If you have not yet received information from us at the end of January, please contact us at support@hoasted.com.

Server upgrade

Server upgrade As soon as all administrative conversion has been done, we will at least upgrade the hosting to new, faster servers later in the year, free of charge. After implementing this, you use a very modern infrastructure, which not only makes your website faster, but also makes it easier to manage it through the included cPanel control panel. cPanel is the most popular hosting control panel, from which you can access and make adjustments to things such as PHP versions, files and settings.

We will always communicate in advance about any upgrades. The ongoing upgrade also has minimal or no impact on the accessibility of services during export. If you want to switch to these newest options earlier, let us know. We can prioritize the free upgrade of your website / hosting account, so that you already have access to cPanel and associated options.
